As I contemplate my life, I wonder what the last 23.5 years have been all about…
I heard a great phrase reducing the infamous VO2max score to only one factor determining endurance potential.
The ticket to the party only gets you in the door.
On that note, here are my conclusions:
I’ve always done just enough to keep the dream alive. I haven’t broken the barriers, pushed the limits, screwed the screw too tight enough to:
a) make the dream reality, or
b) kill the dream and realize it wasn’t meant to be
Every kid wants to win the Olympics or play in the NHL. But not every kid does or can. So what is the separation?
I don’t know.
But I think my goal in the next year is to figure that out…
